Gina has been dancing since the age of 3 and has been teaching since she was 16 years old. Gina has extensive experience in Ballet, Lyrical, Modern and Jazz. Locally, Gina has trained at the Cleveland Institute of Dance, with renowned teacher, Alex Martin, and has danced with the New Dance Ensemble, a Modern dance company in Cleveland, Ohio.
Gina also performed professionally for 10 years in Hollywood, California, where she danced with major celebrities, television commercials, music videos, and has worked with the top choreographers. She has performed all over the U.S. and in Japan.
Gina has a passion is teaching, and her students have gone on to perform on TV, in movies, on Broadway, and prominent dance companies around the world.
In the mid 1990’s Gina returned home to Cleveland with a vision to create a dance studio environment that helps young dancers achieve their goals. Spotlight Students equips dancers for a professional career or the opportunity to make the school dance and cheerleading teams and other extra curricular activities. Some of her students have even become teachers at Spotlight.
Gina is very proud of all her students, including those who just want to dance for fun, and gain confidence and self esteem.
